What this article helps you do
Determine whether the duplicate is an import problem or a valid part of the logical trade.
Before you start
- The affected logical trade and its execution IDs.
Follow these steps
- 1
Open the logical trade and inspect its execution list.
- 2
Confirm whether the records are scale-ins, partial exits, or a reversal.
- 3
Compare provider, account, and external execution IDs.
- 4
Review the connector and gateway retry history.
- 5
Do not delete records until the duplicate key is confirmed.
- 6
Report repeated provider/account/execution IDs to support.
What you should see
True duplicate executions are identified without splitting a valid logical trade.
Common mistakes
- Treating every fill as a separate trade.
- Deleting a legitimate partial exit.
- Deduplicating equal IDs across different providers.
