What this article helps you do
Remove or prevent actual duplicates without deleting valid scale-ins or reversals.
Before you start
- Affected trade and execution identifiers.
Follow these steps
- 1
Compare provider, account, instrument, external ID, and timestamp.
- 2
Check the import job and checkpoint history.
- 3
Confirm the records are not valid separate fills or a reversal.
- 4
Use the supported duplicate-resolution action or contact support.
- 5
Rerun reconciliation and verify daily totals.
What you should see
True duplicates are removed or ignored once while valid executions remain.
Common mistakes
- Deduplicating on timestamp alone.
- Treating same external IDs from different providers as duplicates.
- Deleting all fills for the day.
