Pair the NinjaTrader connector

Use a short-lived code to link one NinjaTrader desktop installation to your TradeChrona workspace.

Authorize the desktop connector without putting your TradeChrona password in NinjaTrader.

Before you start

Before you start

  • The connector is installed and NinjaTrader has been restarted.
  • You are signed in to TradeChrona.
Instructions

Follow these steps

  1. 1

    Open Connections in TradeChrona.

  2. 2

    Choose Create pairing code. The code works once and expires after ten minutes.

  3. 3

    In NinjaTrader Control Center, choose New, then TradeChrona Connector.

  4. 4

    Enter a recognizable device name and the one-time code.

  5. 5

    Choose Pair device.

  6. 6

    Return to Connections and confirm the device and recent activity appear.

Expected result

What you should see

The code links this NinjaTrader desktop installation to your TradeChrona workspace. It does not pair to a broker, store your website password, or give TradeChrona permission to place orders.
Troubleshooting

Common mistakes

  • Sharing a pairing code.
  • Trying to reuse an expired or already-used code.
  • Closing NinjaTrader and expecting new desktop activity to continue synchronizing.
